The true meaning of this phrase by the American financier and banker, J.P. Morgan has been lost on many. As you will soon discover, it is my belief that the billionaire was disclosing a long held bankers secret.
In the harsh conditions of the past, life depended on forecast, and preparation was vital to survival; this to a certain degree was aided by astronomy. But can planetary patterns or cycles also predict economic and social conditions here on Earth?
What if the ability of divination to ‘create wealth’ and ‘influence’ the minds of men was discovered long ago by astronomers, but at some point this science was sequestered away by a merchant priest class in order to gain power over mankind?
For clarification, astronomy is the study of celestial objects and the phenomena that occur in the cosmos, whereas astrology is the belief that human affairs are correlated with the positions of these celestial objects.
